It is a pleasure to announce you the opening of our new joint research center: Roman Society Research Center of Ghent University and the Free University of Brussels. The RSRC will organize workshop twice a year on various themes concerning the history of the Roman World. We furthermore will start a six year research program on ?Land & Natural Resources ? Labour ? Capital in the Roman World?.

Our first meeting will be held on Friday, Dec. 11th in Ghent in the Royan Academy for Dutch Language and Literature. Participation is free, but for practical reasons, we ask you to register with Koen.Verboven@ugent.be.
